Please read the following carefully

Definitions

"You" means the person taking the course, i e the pupil
"We/Our/Us/I"  means AES School of Motoring
"The driving school" means a driving instructor acting on his/her own or on behalf of a driving school.

Normal driver training.

Fees are charged at our regular rate and become payable at the commencement of each lesson. Additional hours can be booked direct with your instructor at the agreed hourly rate.

If the instructor feels that you are not ready to take your test, you will be advised accordingly and an estimate given of the amount of additional training that is required. Refunds for any monies already paid will not be given under these circumstances.

The fees paid do not include the cost of the test which can be booked by yourself or by us. If we book the test for you, we will need the test fee to be paid at that time. If you cancel the test we will endeavor to obtain a refund of your test fee but we cannot be certain that we will be able to. If we can obtain a refund it will be returned to you.

Please note that 48 hours notice is required to cancel a lesson or fees will have to be paid in full.

Intensive courses

When taking an intensive course, it is not possible to drive continuously, therefore, short breaks can be arranged between you and your instructor.

All courses are booked and based on average learning capabilities and are a guide only.  No guarantees can be implied or given.

A practical test cannot be booked until a pupil has successfully passed the theory test.  Practical test availability is subject to tests made available by the Driving Standards Agency (DSA).

Once a course is booked, the hours of tuition must be taken regardless of the theory test being passed.  In exceptional circumstances at the instructors discretion some hours might be able to be deferred if the theory test is failed. Please note that, because this type of training commits an instructor to those hours, refunds cannot be given if you fail to complete the block of lessons.

Booking an intensive course commits the instructor to those hours and short notice cancellation may mean that it is not possible to find other work for that instructor. Because of this, the following cancellation fees apply when booking an intensive course:

* 25% of the course fee is due if the course is cancelled 28 working days of the start date.
* 50% of the course fee is due if the course is cancelled 21 working days of the start date.
* 100% the course fee is due if the course is cancelled under 14 working days of the  start date.
